Pet Owner's Quick Guide
Courtesy of the Del Mar Foundation
Dog friendly Del Mar welcomes you and your dogs and pets. Please do your part; respect the local laws and understand that not all people are comfortable around pets.
Owners are responsible for picking up after their pets. Keep your own poop bags handy (there are some dispensers located around the city) and keep our city clean.
Dogs must be legally licensed and current with rabies vaccinations for the safety of all.
Dogs must be on leash when entering and leaving parks. When allowed to be off leash, dogs must be under effective voice control.
No aggressive or dangerous dogs or dogs in heat allowed in the parks. Be proactive and avoid unnecessary dangerous situations. Owners are solely liable for their dog's actions.
